Advertisement Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Hi jmr, Take a look here Long Gallery. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marc_dufour Posted July 9, 2006 Share #2 Â Posted July 9, 2006 John, The same picture, but with only one or two persons, would be fantastic. So, sit down, open PhotoShop, take a deep breath and come on :-) Marc
jmr Posted July 9, 2006 Author Share #3 Â Posted July 9, 2006 Marc, Â nice idea, but when you've already waited as long as I did to get so few people in the scene IRL, you tend to be happy enough with the result
arthury Posted July 9, 2006 Share #4 Â Posted July 9, 2006 For us who are ignorant, where's Cher, at Chenonceau? Â Seems like a busy place. I guess the ceiling and floor patterns echoed the hustling + bustling in the center. Â I like the ceiling a lot.
marc_dufour Posted July 9, 2006 Share #5 Â Posted July 9, 2006 I understand perfectly, John :-) How many photographs I decided to don't catch, because It was impossible to wait a quiet moment !! Marc
jmr Posted July 10, 2006 Author Share #6 Â Posted July 10, 2006 Arthur, Â sorry about that, I hadn't intended to be so cryptic. Â Chenonceau is a chateau on the River Cher in France. It is most notable for having been extended over the river. The Long Gallery is on the lower floor of the bridge. Â Here's a snap of the outside. lambroving Posted July 10, 2006 Share #7 Â Posted July 10, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) John, Â Think you did well considering... Travel photography is difficult at best with no time to wait for the best light. Like that portrait shot on your site of the tower with the flowers, BTW.
