Other 4/3 lenses on Digilux3?

I haven't tried any other 4/3 lenses on mine yet ("mine," of course, meaning my Panasonic L1 as I'm too frugal to pop for the Leica version) but I have been experimenting a bit with a Nikkor 35mm f2.8 PC lens via a 4/3->Nikon adapter to correct perspective, etc. as well as allow me to flat-stitch ~20MP files, and it works surprisingly well despite its somewhat modest resolution when used this way. I've also concluded that I really need a 28mm (or preferably, a 24mm) shift lens as the 35mm is just too tight for the sort of back-alley stuff I like to shoot as I'm frequently running out of room to back up!

If I do decide to keep my L1 (although it creates higher resolution images and larger files than my LC1, I find it much less natural to use handheld and an Oly body will likely work just as well as the L1 for my digital back/view camera project and costs several hundred dollars less than the L1's body-and-lens), I'll probably pick up the 7-14 Oly zoom as I've heard nothing but good things about it and like shooting wider than tighter. We'll see...

Olympus wides are very good quality, Oly are at heart an optical company

they are pro lenses and they are sealed againsed climatic conditions

the 11-22 is available reasonably priced

the 7-14 is really very special and is without comparison on any format, but i warn you it is a bit pricey

dont judge them by the cheap and nasty kit lenses

you can also use some of the Konica Hexanon bayonet lenses, but the need a modification first
