Joecamera Posted June 4, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) A few minutes ago, I searched "Leica R" on eBay. There were 1,462 items listed, of which most were "adapters". The actual count of adapters was 510. Thats over 1/3rd of all Leica R items listed being an adapter that would allow the use of fine quality Leica glass on various brands of digital bodies. Which poses the question, hmmmmmm, with all the interest in adapters, you would think someone with common sense at Leica might put 2 and 2 together, and come up with a brilliant idea like, "hey, let's make a digital body for all that Leica glass out there!" What do you think?????
Advertisement Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Hi Joecamera, Take a look here Adapters dominate Leica R on eBay. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
bill Posted June 4, 2010 Share #2 Posted June 4, 2010 I think that sick people ride in ambulances, so if you never ride in an ambulance you won't get sick... In other words, you are drawing an erroneous conclusion from the data. Adapters/adaptors are cheap and plentiful. If you look at the adverts you will find that many are from the same few dealers, for exactly the same items, finishing at different times. Regards, Bill

What do you think????? I think the people at Leica are smarter than some of us are willing to give them credit for. Photokina is only a few months away, let's see if anything turns up there.
