artspraken Posted June 1, 2010 Share #21 Posted June 1, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) If the vast difference in price is not a problem, you should sell the X1 and buy the M9. Aside from the obvious superiority of the M9, the X1 is already under threat of being phased out by the increasing number of APS-C sized compacts that are entering the market this year. It will become increasingly difficult to sell the X1 later this year. M9 still state of the art for DRF.

normanchoi Posted June 2, 2010 Share #24 Posted June 2, 2010 Hi Pedro I am wondering if you can help me to locate an M9 steel grey from your dealer? Let me know how it would work out logistically. FYI, I am from Hong Kong and therefore with the Euro Exchange rate and without the VAT, it becomes a good deal. If it all works out, I may just take the two M9 that your dealer has..... Thanks for your help Norman

JonK Posted June 4, 2010 Share #30 Posted June 4, 2010 Well, in the first place, there are no M9s to buy. In the second place, if you find one to buy you should give it to me since I've been on a wait list since last November. Third, simply keep your X1 until you actually have a M9 to buy, then consider selling it. However, if you cannot sell it for much by then, why not keep it as a backup for your M9? That should be around this time in 2011. I am surprised. I ordered late January and got delivery late Feb and many others have had similar wait times. This was ordering from London to HK.
