M8 + Biogon 2/35 - coding needed?

I have searched the forum already and found a few threads on the combination of the M8 + Biogon 2/35, but I am a bit insecure now, so I'm going to ask some yet answered questions again, hoping to get more coherent answers :-)

Essentially, my question is if I need to code the Biogon 2/35 for use on the M8. I've read in another thread that it causes cyan corners and vignetting ONLY when used with a UV/IR filter. In Steve Huff's review of the lens though I got the impression that cyan corners and vignetting are only an issue on the M9 - but maybe his comparison was to an M8 without filter?

If I should code the lens, as which lens should I set it up? I'd guess Summicron 35, but which version? What's your experience?

Also, is that claim about the cyan corners true? Anyone have comparison shots with and without filter, maybe even with and without coding?

Thanks in advance!

P.S.: I hope to receive the lens tomorrow but will shoot it without filter for some time as the dealer I ordered the filter from doesn't have it in stock and has to order it from another retailer himself first ...

P.P.S.: For those who followed my earlier threads - I have sent the Nokton 35/1.4 back, as I couldn't get friends with its focus shifting. I like its rendering, but I wanted something more "magical", as that was my main reason (next to wanting a digital rangefinder) for buying a Leica. I believe Zeiss glass has that "magic".

I have the M8 and Biogon and I tested it without the coding and with "sharpie" coding, which seemed to work just fine even hought the other dot was on top of the screw. I coded it to Summicron 35/2 as said here:

There was slight vignetting without the code, but it was really slight and it went away with the code and IR filter.

The lens is AWESOME! on M8.
