Common or exotic?

There really is a bird called the "Laughing Dove", to me it looks pretty much like this grey pigeon, except the main colour is ruddy brownish, it is native of Southern Europe. :D

 

I just thought this guy looked rather splendid.

 

The V-Lux1 seems to be quite a step up from the FZ30, I'm still finding out what it can do but the weather has been crap since I got it. :(

A bit of a surprise to see this one come back (perhaps a homing shot?.... sorry:o). I've hardly ever given a pigeon a second look but this guy looked so splendid; if a little tired. He was in a wildlife sanctuary, attracted by the food, I suppose.

Since this was taken the V-Lux has become a "weapon of choice", if only that lens went down to 24mm, then I would just sell the rest.

 

In Trafalgar Square it is now quite rare too see more than a few pigeons since they employed that guy with his Harris Hawk :eek:
