strange artifact on raw file

What has happened on this file?

I am not talking about the blurriness due to the slow shutter speed, but the fact that the picture is cut in two, with a color cast on the left side.

Nothing like it on any of the other files. Seems as half of this file has been processed differently in lightroom than all the other files.

File is straight out of Lightroom with default settings.

Anyone can explain this?

This is the centrefold problem. Somehow the amplifiers of the left and right sensor readout were out of step. If it recurs the camera will have to have its electronics seen to in Solms.

I had once also a very strange problem with an image, where one half of the image was different. It was more pronounced then yours. However in my case I remembered the circumstances. I was busy during a party taking pictures, and suddenly my M9 was dead, with a totally flat battery. After replacing the battery, the M9 was fine again. However the last picture I took before the M9 went dead was the corrupted image. I didn't bothered to much because I realized that I had been continued taking pictures while the battery was low and it probably went dead while the corrupted image was taken.

Well, in my case, the battery was not dead. After this picture I shot an other 13 pictures of the same sky. Only one of them shows the same effect, but weaker.

However many of the shows an other interesting phenomenon, two moons  Must be some kind of flare?

Well, actually, this is the only lens (90 cron) where I have left the filter on after I sold the M8.

That would explain the second moon. Light is reflected off the sensor and and back into the lens, then reflected off the filter so it hits the sensor for a second time (but mirrored horizontally and vertically).
