patashnik Posted May 23, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 23, 2010 B&H (B&H Photo Video | Digital Cameras, Photography, Camcorders) and Freestyle (Freestyle Photographic Supplies - Traditional Black & White Film, Paper, Chemicals, Holgas and ULF) have been my main suppliers for years, and no problem with shipping to Norway. mob81 Posted May 23, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted May 23, 2010 Thanks patashnik: I already contacted B&H and I'll contact Freestyle and hope for the best. However, is there a suggestion for developing TRI-X "and maybe Tmax 100 and ilford 50" and I heard Tmax is harder to develop!.....is D76 or XTOL...or any other Ilford's
matiasgd Posted May 23, 2010 Share #4 Posted May 23, 2010 Freestyle works great for me. I always order my B&W film and chemistry from them.

mhulbert Posted May 25, 2010 Share #6 Posted May 25, 2010 A Saudi customer for B&H -- definitely a good sign in the "can't we all just get along" stakes! (B&H is owned and operated by Satmar Hasidim -- hence the no ordering on Shabbat.) They are a good and reliable store -- I can second that. Used to be my regular shop when I lived in NYC and I have used their mail order. Freestyle are also great -- now my local shop here in LA.
FiZZ Posted May 26, 2010 Share #7 Posted May 26, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The reason why most shops don't ship internationally is because of the chemical hazard. Change in temperature is unstable for chemicals and can be dangerous. Most companies don't ship by sea freight either. Adorama and B&H are among those. To get around that, you can order powder chemicals, which are safe for air freight. I live in the UAE and I order once a month from Adorama, but it's mostly film, not chemicals. What I do know, is that we get Ilford Ilfosol shipped here by air because that's what we use at the college I work in. You could try that as an option, or if all else fails, order the powder chemicals. They're cheaper on the long run, and since it's for personal use, it's not that much of a hassle to use.
