It's not to his taste, but he can't find anyone who has one and doesn't love it. Free because one can sell the equipment in a year for what one spent. I think he would be happy with a digital M if it were not required to be so legacy based on appearance, ie removable base etc. He understands how many users get annoyed with any M changes, ala the failure of the M5 by being too big. Maybe he's basing it on the fact that the M9 can take proper pictures while the Diana can't? I mean, people pay a ridiculous amount of money for something that isn't supposed to work properly. He doesn't need to. His commenters can usually be counted upon to add inventive forms of Leica-bashing, never failing to mention the price tag.
