malcolm Posted July 8, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 8, 2006 Allan, I note the giant "nerf" bars on the front, but what's with the red tent off the back? Part of a different display?
Guest flatfour Posted July 8, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 8, 2006 Allan - Where did you see this ? Is it new ? I've never seen such a clean undamaged police car.
abrewer Posted July 8, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted July 8, 2006 Hi Malcolm! Tent is behind the car, where the men showing this car were sitting in the shade. Sorry it's such a grab-shot...just snapped it as I walked by. This is at a "Firemen's Convention" in Indianapolis, Tony. They brought in trucks and cars and ambulances...you name it, to the Convention Center for about a week back in the spring. It was like being a little boy in a toy store with all of them! Thanks for looking! Allan

whn Posted July 9, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 9, 2006 Allan, what a contrast to the boring family cars the german police is using. Very good and informative shot.
arthury Posted July 9, 2006 Share #9 Posted July 9, 2006 "Protect & Serve" with a Doge Ram ad on the side? Or am I mistaken? That aside, it's a cool image with a good looking vehicle. I like it but not where my tax $$$ goes to.
abrewer Posted July 9, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted July 9, 2006 Thanks again Ilan! Wilfried, thank you for commenting! Why not post a shot of one of those German cruisers here? I'm sure we'd all enjoy seeing what goes on your side of the pond! Thanks Arthur! I'm thinking it is all tongue in cheek: Dodge City, the ram, my birthday as the car number!!! I see your avatar has changed, in favor of your new pride and joy! Allan

I see your avatar has changed, in favor of your new pride and joy! Allan Ah ... that made sense, I didn't know there was that personal element involved. And, yes, I love driving that car: it's truly a driver's car.

I'm sure we'd all enjoy seeing what goes on your side of the pond! Allan, I checked my archive but did not find even one image of a local german police-car. abrewer Posted July 11, 2006 Author Share #14 Posted July 11, 2006 Thanks Arthur! Try to avoid having too many of these following you! Hi William! No, that's not my ride. I have a little red convertible--the chase car! Wilfried, you can tell them it's all my fault! Thanks. Allan
