m8point2 Posted April 26, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 26, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I want to recover my M8 handgrip so it matches the black vulcanite on my brand-new M9. Does Leica sell vulcanite to recover the grip? If not, which Camera Leather covering matches the M9 vucanite best. Thanks, el

jaapv Posted April 26, 2010 Share #2 Posted April 26, 2010 No, Leica probably won't sell it, but they might recover - at a cost. Your best bet would be to inquire of Morgan Sparks: info<at>cameraleather.com
Guest ccmsosse Posted April 26, 2010 Share #3 Posted April 26, 2010 I have the black M9 and then got a black M8 handgrip via Ebay. The look fine together - one really can't tell that they weren't made for each other ....
adli Posted May 7, 2010 Share #4 Posted May 7, 2010 I did sent my M9 to Leica for calibration. It had the M8 grip attached. When it came back, it had the same grip, but the grip was recovered with vulcanite matching the M9. The only message from Leica was calibrated, cleaned and controled.
