Got one, should I keep it?

The clincher, for me, is the simplicity of the two dial layout which I find far far clearer than the cluttered, over-complex, graphic icon-laden and menu-driven design approach of competitors. In this respect, the X1 is unique.

Me too... but most people don't seem to be bothered by newer menu driven cameras with knobs that have multiple functions each... I question my own sanity when it comes to my preference for simplicity.

most people are not bothered because most people are clueless as to what the controls do in the first place...lol..

The simplicity of the X1 is one of the main reasons I bought one. Got the grip last week and the viewfinder..all I need is a half case from Luigi to protect it..Loving this camera more every day.

I think this is a very valid point. I'm enjoying the simplicity of the dials on the top. It just seems easier now.
