My Profile Set Ups and questions

I've got a very simple set of "profiles" and a question regarding them.

I have set in first three slots. No review. DNG uncompressed. Except that in Profile 1 I have auto WB, then for 2, "Daylight" and for three "Cloudy". In Profile 4 I have DNG uncompressed plus JPG fine, Auto WB.

I set ISO at 160 in all profiles. (Yes, I shoot mostly landscapes outdoors.)

A couple questions here:

If for a particular shot I am in, say, Profile 1 and need to change ISO to a higher number, and do that, is then the next shot AT that higher ISO? And then, how do I get back to the original Profile 1 and ISO 160? Simply by hitting set and setting Profile 1 again? Or has the original Profile been changed and I need to set it up once again?

Secondly, what happens if one shoots "Cloudy" at the WB setting on a sunny day? I haven't done this yet but I read somewhere this tends to warm up the colors some. What effect is there in fact. Sorry but for the past few days where I am it has been cloudy and I haven't been able to test the "Cloudy" setting in sunshine for an image.

Thanks for your help! O I am loving the images coming from the M9 and the 50 Lux ASPH. I have decided to sell my 24 Elmar and just have a two lens kit: the 50 and the 135 Telyt.

What I have found is that as soon as you change any setting, the profile designation goes away. Even changing the setting back does not make the profile designation to reappear. It does not change the original profile unless you save it. Simply re-selecting the profile in the menu brings back your original settings, at least until you change a setting.

As far as the WB, I have been using Lightroom and you can easily change the WB setting on the DNG files. Usually the first thing I do when I download my pictures is quickly go through each one and pick the best WB setting and color profile. I had stayed away from Lightroom until I got the M9 but I am really enjoying it now.

Hope this helps,

Pete
