burkey Posted July 8, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 8, 2006 B&H has the CLUX cases as well as this one that they are selling seperately or packaged with the camera. I have this one and it comes with a spare battery. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=details_accessories&A=details&Q=&sku=431056&is=USA&addedTroughType=accessory_detail&addedTroughValue=431035_USA Good luck. . . . pinetar Posted July 9, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 9, 2006 Lowe Pro has a flex case for $14. I like it.
robert_parker Posted July 10, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 10, 2006 I hate to admit this but Tesco in the UK (it's a supermarket) are doing a whole range of leather and fabirc camera cases, suitable for the C-1. The cost ranges from 45pence to £9.50 and they all work fine, some include a carrying strap as well as belt loops.
pinetar Posted July 10, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 10, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would prefer a bag that does not advertise that the camera is a Leica. I set off an alarm from the town hoods when I walked thru the French Quarter with my big Panasonic video cam many years ago. This is what I have: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001HOWTM/102-0861795-7192939?v=glance&n=502394 Got mine from compusa.
Guest smep Posted July 11, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 11, 2006 I use the Tamrac Neo´s Digital 5 Model 3805. It´s not so elegant as a Leathercase but offers much better protection for the camera when it accompanies me at sports activities. It´s easy to remove the ugly Plastic-Badge by cutting the sewing-thread. http://www.tamrac.com/3805.htm
