dkCambridgeshire Posted April 17, 2010 Share #2 Posted April 17, 2010 Universal handgrip with shoulder stock - code 14188 - for Leicaflex cameras. dunk
luigi bertolotti Posted April 17, 2010 Share #3 Posted April 17, 2010 To be precise, it was also listed for Leica M + Visoflex (for 400/560 Telyt 6,8). Curiosly, the curved shoulder support, in itself, looks more of the older type, for the version with rougher handgrip (a simple metal bar, instead of the "anatomical" grip as in the picture): but they were indeed intechangeable - same diameter of the cylindrical part. gvaliquette Posted April 17, 2010 Share #6 Posted April 17, 2010 Hi, JC: I see, in the right-most universal grip, that you have done exactly what I have done: replace the mechanical release cable with the electronic cable for the R8/R9. I use the combo with the 350mm f4.8 Telyt and my R9 with motor drive or DMR. It's a fantastic tool for a safari! For those who want to do it, nothing could be simpler. Loosen the set screw that locks the cable release in place, pull out the mechanical cable release, slip the electronic release into place and retighten the set screw gently. Done! wildlightphoto Posted April 18, 2010 Share #9 Posted April 18, 2010 Here you have the 3 models The two on the left are 14188, the one on the right is 14239. There was another version of the 14188 with a hand grip like the center model and without the angle adjustments. The center model in this photo is the last version of the 14188. In the first photo the shoulder part is upside-down.
