Staggerlee Posted April 14, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 14, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Before I run off the the repair shop, I thought that I might be doing something wrong. In manual, a or s mode I cannot change the settings which are stuck on f6.3 and 1/25. Have I set something in the menu incorrectly or is there something else I can do befor I go on the great suppot search? Regards, Paul
Advertisement Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Hi Staggerlee, Take a look here D-lux 4: aperture & shutter adjustment stuck . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
griffster Posted April 14, 2010 Share #2 Posted April 14, 2010 Adjustments are made by nudging the little joystick up and down. It's happened before that someone here didn't realise that. It could be that you're stuck in exposure compensation mode, in which case you should nudge the joystick to the right in order to get back to the S or A adjustment. Staggerlee Posted April 14, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted April 14, 2010 It's a first! A few hours after I posted an email to Leica support, and after I resolved the problem, I got a call from a Leica support person in New Jersey to see if he could resolve the problem. I have to say that for all the cameras and products that I have owned over the years, this is the first time that I have ever received a call from a support person. I wonder what an M9 would merit? Kudos, Leica.
