LFI - Abo is a mess

LFI should do some cleaning with their ABO service, which is quite a mess.

Since April 1, a dozen e-email to sort a simple VAT exclusive B to B

purchase of some items from the shop.

No one seemed to know what their colleague said or wrote before… :(

Fibally had to phone in Germany to sort it out. Maybe. Possibly. Some day.

And of course not a word of apology.

I totally disagree.

 

Had just bought a subscription when my M9 arrived. Registered my free half year free subscription without a thought, and then realized I might be receiving TWO concurrent issues of LFI for a few months.

Emailed them, things got sorted out, half year will be delivered after first whole year is over, and I got a free 4 MB card for my camera - not sure why.

 

Cudos to LFI subscription dept.

Well, experiences differ here.

I had to send 11 :eek: e-mails for an order of 3 items from the shop. They even could'nt calculate correctly the amount due. I finally had to call them on the phone to get it sorted out.

Even then, that lady couldn't retrieve my e-mails, then couldn't understand why I disagreed with their grand total.

Finally, I received a mail acknowledging the error. Too bad, too late, as I needed these items for a trip and won't have them, despite having ordered it 8 days in advance.

Well that is worth knowing. I have subscribed for a couple of years and so didn't bother using that coupon with my M9. Now I will.

My last copy arrived here in Australia faster than ever before.The April issue before April. Excellent! My experience with communication with them has been much better since the current folks took over. Sorry to read that the OP here had difficulties. Perhaps there was some mis-communication?

There surely had been, on their part, but most disappointing is that if I did not call in Germany, it'd never be sorted. Quite a simple operation, though… :rolleyes:

Same here. I never used my M9 coupon because I already had a subscription to LFI. Good to know that perhaps they can tack the free issues on to the end, rather than opening up a second subscription - which I certainly don't need.

 

Condolences Hel-Stampes on your woes. My only complaint with LFI is the nearly month-long wait before it arrives in the States after being released in Europe.

I'm afraid I've also had many problems.

 

My latest is that I'm trying to change my contact email address: I filled the form online, but I've had no reply to acknowledge whether the change was successful. A follow-up mail hasn't been answered... so, maybe changed, maybe not... :confused:
