Tesco locally use sandpaper to swipe the negs. They must do, as they come back scratched to b**gery. I've watched the girl roll negs round get fingers before cutting them

they won't do dev only plus CD in one hour. Only in 24 hours. Even if you pay the one hour fee. I have in the past, paid the one hour and CD fee, then handed back the 6x4 prints and asked them to throw them away, just to make a point.

There are better High Street alternatives. Snappy Snaps for one.

I have a camera store about 20 miles from me that has a professional lab. I am in Northern Virginia, USA. Turnaround time for me is not important as I must make time to travel that distance and back.

I`ve found them no worse than any others.I sometimes use Jessops and Max Sp.

The only truely dreadful results have come from the Max Sp. The staff didn`t know about C41 for B/W and any colour film came back with clumpy brown grain.

Tesco have been Ok but I admit that the handling of the negs makes me wince sometimes.

No other alternatives in this neck of the woods.

Michael
