Why waste time speculating? Your insider source knows it all.
:(

Yes thats true, though I thought I would personally pass on what (YOU) GIORDANO :D might like? Now since you have a defeatist attitude, I won't bother with your request:). This is a serious thread as to what Leica could add too and improve on that [is not currently] (cost effective ) ......... to upgrade....... on current M8 and M9 models, with the emphases on (COST). Now shall we start over.

thanks, chris m

Hi Andy , glad too see your working, yes I have I've actually read them all, however with no updates immanent? at least for the M8, I think its more than appropriate to see what people are {currently} like today, moving forward, would like. And also for myself who owns digital M's could hope fore or expect. I'm just interested in the changes of the ideas and realistic realisms of compilations of the many previous threads about the M10, especially with the latest announcements in chip technologies etc.. :D

Andy, I think that this thread would be better served back were it was originally posted, as It is frequented by the (core Digital M users)

Hi Andy , glad too see your working

I am not working. This isn't a job. It's something that I, and other moderators, do in our spare time for the good of the forum and the wider Leica community.

I assume you mean "throw"? ...nothing like prejudging. That should alienate a fair number of your potential contributors.

Regards,

Bill

Hi Bill, glad to hear from you again, its been many years since 2002. Yes, I meant "throw" sorry about the miss spelling, I should take an english course. LOL. However "Why would anyone want a video option" on a prosumer? / pro digital range finder? especially when..... (I think) that the "video" part should be left off to keep the range finder appeal, which is simplicity ie; without all the bells and whistles rite? How do you personally feel Bill about video on a Digital M10??;) However if I'm wrong here please correct me, but you don't even own a (Digital M8 or M9 do you?) just film M's and glass rite. So what is your personal interest in what you would prefer on a M10?

Perhaps you should read the thread in the M9 forum on the subject. You might find it enlightening.

...and that is germane how, exactly...?

Bill its ok if you want me to qualify you, but I think your already qualified.

one more boring thread about "M10, what will it have".

WHY??

The M9 is only short time available and what I see and hear is that the m9 is a wonderful camera! One one hand the people are lamenting the fact that the production cycle in digital era is too quick, on the other hand some people here also are now speculating about the next model now. One can talk about the future of rangefinder technology in the future of course, but, what is the real benefit of these speculation item?:(

The real benefit is, the ugly fact that digital technology is (constantly changing) "for the better" especially since you just posted. So knowing this what would you like? Do (you) own a Digital M8 or M9? your thoughts please

Maybe I should just start another thread? since no one has any imagination:(

Maybe I should just start another thread? since no one has any imagination:(

There have been hundreds, maybe thousands of posts on other "M10" threads with people discussing what may or may not available on the camera. I hardly think that qualifies as no one having any imagination. Maybe people think it's time to stop flogging the poor dead horse and let it have a rest.

In this particular instance one "fact" is worth more than 1,000 "opinions", and there are no facts.

Thats one mans opinion, thanks Stuny, but I disagree. And thats the great thing about threads like these, as people such as yourself tend to want to continue to be (NARROW MINDED) as if you had as much time on your hands, as I do mine, I thought you of all people would have something of substance to add? and be more open minded to advances in camera sensor chips and technologies that might? pertain too and be implicated in the possible building of an M10. So if you don't want to participate in a valid thread? then don't flog this thread about forum members personal insights to new ideas based on the endless (new) advances in technologies pertaining to a possible new M10. I'm quite surprised at you for such a comment like that, Stuny. If your not interested please "Don't Respond" Please beat your own dead horse not mine.

I did not want to affront someone, just I want to give some very strong opinion about these "speculation" threads which are only useless. And: it is always the same! X1 was not available, and some posted about the wish list for X2....wow, funny!

Lets talk about the M11, the S4 and the D-Lux 6 :D
