pop Posted March 28, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 28, 2010 I see three possible causes: Camera electronics (that might include the sensor) are defective The storage card is defective The data on the storage card is being corrupted by either the camera or the computer To exclude #2: use another storage card To exclude #3: re-format the card; take care not to remove the card from the computer the camera until it says it's OK to do so. Do not shoot with an empty or weak battery. To exclude #1: Don't know; ask Solms, I suppose
pop Posted March 28, 2010 Share #5 Posted March 28, 2010 No, I mean that half of the pictures are under violet colour. The right half always. If it's on every picture, then I see no possible cause except for the camera.

Hey You Posted March 28, 2010 Share #7 Posted March 28, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had the same problem, and the Leica rep told my dealer that the problem was faulty wiring - a loose contact or the like. If you read through other forums you will see that several others have had the same problem. Send it back for repair.
jaapv Posted March 28, 2010 Share #8 Posted March 28, 2010 That is a motherboard problem. One channel of half the sensor is not being read out.
