jpattison Posted March 30, 2010 Share #21 Â Posted March 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) hi Rolo, I have been with SPG for about 12 years. I gave a talk on Polaroid film, and like you say, found them a friendly bunch (hecklers one and all!) so decided to become a member. there are no competitions, we just have lectures, or show each others work. Mark Watson still runs it, I assume it was he that commandeered yourself! Â John

abrewer Posted April 7, 2010 Share #22  Posted April 7, 2010 PhotoVenture is a very nice club here in Indy  Nice mix of people old and young, amateur and pro  They have weekly outings, almost always something of interest  Highly recommended  I did the meet-up thing one night and that was fun, too  Found that group on Flickr
Guest badbob Posted May 19, 2010 Share #23 Â Posted May 19, 2010 Do you or have you belonged to a photographic club? My experience is that I have visited a few but have never found one that meets my needs which would be; pursuit of excellence, no dogma, pushing the limits and a welcome to all levels.I can't say that I have looked hard as my various visits have put me off searching again for a long period. Do people on the Forum have a view? Â I've belonged to several photo clubs (not camera clubs), and only one out of four was not worth going back to. I've been able to do presentations at those clubs, attend free photo walks, shmooze with experts - all good experience.

Do people on the Forum have a view? Â I would be delighted to correspond with you to see if we match each other's photog/camera interests. I shoot with an M9, M6 and M3 and modern as well as vintage lenses. I operate a darkroom as well as running Apple Aperture for the digital side. I find this Leica site difficult to use (probably my fault, I'm a bit of a computer dummie!) so if you wish to contact me my email address is adamlindoro@gmail.com. farnz Posted August 19, 2014 Share #25 Â Posted August 19, 2014 I would be delighted to correspond with you ... I assume you're aware that you've picked up a 4 year old thread and that LuxBob hasn't posted on this forum for 3 years? Â Pete.
