Guest chris_h Posted December 18, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 18, 2006 Nice woman - but there's no light in her eyes - and that's not so nice ...
petert531 Posted December 18, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted December 18, 2006 Indeed there is a tiny catch light. It was a 10 degree grid, dialed way down not to influence the mood. I find the dark eyes to be soulful and wanted to leave that intact. Peter
stuny Posted December 18, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 18, 2006 Peter - Personally I like the light, and I find the make-up and hair to enhance what I experience from this photo. Turning her shoulders as you have make her seem frail, giving a mood of vulnerability. Was that your intent?
petert531 Posted December 19, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted December 19, 2006 Shoulders are key to me along with eyes and hands. Turning them was totally intentional showing her delicate structure there. Glad you noticed. Peter
Nathan King Miller Posted December 19, 2006 Share #6 Posted December 19, 2006 A minor detail - but I most love the snake-like effect of her braided hair, coiling itself around her neck. With the moody quality of the shadows, it looks as though she's being suffocated by her own beauty. It's tough being a babe in the modern world.
