Quasi una Ferrari?

Although Ferrari described the Dino 246GT as 'tiny, brilliant, safe - almost a Ferrari', few regard it as anything but a Ferrari (after all, were the 246 GP cars of 1958 not real Ferraris?). When I was a lad, the state Ferrari distributors were just up the road, and I thought nothing of waiting half an hour to hear one start. An immaculate example resides near where I now live and, 35 years on, it is still a joy to hear its engine note as it goes by. This example was in the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.

Ian -

Among my alltime favorite cars for its gorgeous, quirky Pininfarina coachworks, but man did they require maintenance. This is a lovely shot capturing much of the almost liquid metal work and paint. If you have more views please post them.

There is a stunning example on display in the Galleria Ferrari. I have some shots if anyone is interested.

I owned a 308 GT4 Dino once, although I doubt many of those will make it into Museums :o)

Yes please! The 308 4 seater seems to have a bit more cred these days.

Pete.
