likalar Posted March 10, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 10, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Richard Stephens' Academy of Art auto collection is partially viewable through the plate glass of the old J.E. French Dodge and Plymouth showroom on Van Ness Ave. Currently, several Packards are lined up, facing the glass, I pressed the lens to the glass to get some shots of these amazing motorcars. The old Mercedes building, down the street, is being prepped as the collection's new home. Hopefully public viewing will be allowed. I've read that over 100 restored cars may be displayed. Leica M9, 28mm Elmarit M; My apologies for the tight crops. Larry
Advertisement Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Hi likalar, Take a look here 3 Packard Faces, San Francisco. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted March 10, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 10, 2010 Larry, A great series with nice composition, colors and sharpness especially through a window. I like the third one because the photographer's image is imbedded on the fender. paul
