brunom Posted March 9, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Can anyone tell me - will it be still possible to develop Kodachrome [ after Dwayne's finishes at the end of the year ], but as a black and white film [ slide or neg?] This would at least enable those who have stockpiled some of the film, but who didn't get around to using it all in time, to make some use of it. Thanks for any suggestions. Bruno
Advertisement Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Hi brunom, Take a look here Kodachrome development. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Xmas Posted March 9, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 9, 2010 Yes you can threat as B&W film but it wont necessarily be easy to scan or enlarge from, use it post it to Waynes, or throw it, buy real B&W film, if you want B&W. Noel
andybarton Posted March 9, 2010 Share #3 Posted March 9, 2010 You have eight months to get through it. If you have so much that you can't use it all, either sell it, give it away, or prioritise your shooting so that you only use Kodachrome for the rest of the year. tgray Posted March 10, 2010 Share #5 Posted March 10, 2010 I'm pretty sure Kodachrome has remjet on it. If it does, you'd have to remove that too.
brunom Posted March 11, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted March 11, 2010 Hi thanks for your thoughts - I've only got 8 rolls left so I'll be ok, but my question was more or less a general interest one. Bruno

brunom Posted March 12, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted March 12, 2010 Hi Yes, he was - I had him when I was about 15 but he died after catching cat flu at about 6 months old, which broke my heart. His name was Doogal and I'm glad I took this photo [ Pen FT ] as it really did/does show his personality. Regards Bruno
