minhhich Posted March 9, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) So, when I 1st bought my M8.2 2ndhand, I found the banding problem from ISO 320 up. I wasn't worried so much as its the common issue with the M8 series but its still annoying. However, after a few days of frequently shooting, the banding just simply disappeared. Its weird. Now I know the the pre-owner of my camera bought an M9 and this M8 didnt get used for a few months. It sounds:D like you gotta use this camera if you dont want any issue. I started to love this camera more. Hah

jaapv Posted March 9, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 9, 2010 Hmmm.. It sounds like you are learning to expose correctly. Banding tends to show up on underexposed images.
minhhich Posted March 9, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted March 9, 2010 I dont think so, as It does not appear any more at the shadow area. But yes, I do learn much from the camera. But hey, I shoot with M3 too so prob not the exposure problem
jaapv Posted March 9, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 9, 2010 An M3 with an exposuremeter - or sunny f16- is a whole different matter than a centre-weighed TTL meter
