stuny Posted March 7, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 7, 2010 Markus - Lovely and charming shots. My first impulse was chimps, but they might actually be banobos, very rare and only in war-torn Congo.
vla Posted March 7, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted March 7, 2010 Stuart, thank you! Glad, you liked the shots. I had to take them through a glass screen separating the animals from visitors. I found the scene very touching, too. Unfortunately, the male didn't like at all being photographed. At some point he suddently got up and jumped against the glass screen exactly in front of me! vla Posted March 7, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted March 7, 2010 btw, i also thought they were chimps, but i will double-check next time ...
pauledell Posted March 8, 2010 Share #5 Posted March 8, 2010 Markus, Great shots of the guys in very immodest positions. They don't seem too concerned. Paul

allamande Posted March 9, 2010 Share #7 Posted March 9, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) They seem to be having a blast! Wonderful captures! When I see shots like this I often wonder what their lives would be like if they were in the wild. Ece
