jaapv Posted March 2, 2010 Share #21 Posted March 2, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well, I tend to know the FOV of my lenses, so often shoot it without external viewfinder, especially if there is some action going on, although I have one in my camera bag. If I really want to be exact in composition I mount the D-lux4 viewfinder, compose - focus and shoot. For the type of shots one uses wideangles for that works quite well. Advertisement Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Hi jaapv, Take a look here Considering the 24/1.4 with M8.2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
steem21 Posted March 3, 2010 Author Share #22 Posted March 3, 2010 The 24 summilux has arrived! Wow. To start with, the packaging is very OTT but I can see where some of the money has been spent! Can anyone shed any light on what should be occupying the little rectangular indent in the foam packaging on the bottom left, just below the space where the leather case sits? It's empty in my secondhand copy. The build quality is amazing. Much more robust and dense than the elmarit. Balances well on the M8 and I've taken a few casual pics around the house as it's late and too cold to go out in the dark. Very, very nice to have such a lovely smooth OOF area with the 24 FOV. Can't wait to put it to proper use at the weekend!
