dwild Posted February 27, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 27, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just recently the screen on my M8.2 has this dark yellowish outline of a rounded rectangle in the center. I was shooting ice shanties with a very white background a few days ago when I first noticed it -- thought it might be the cold weather. It does not show up on the files, but it is annoying when quickly reviewing any images with a light field. The folks at Glazer's suggested I send it in, but I'm not looking forward to being without the camera for a couple months. I searched here and when I couldn't find a similar problem I thought I would ask the Forum. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks very much, David

dwild Posted February 28, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted February 28, 2010 Ah... the coffee ring! Sorry my search didn't turn this up -- but the condensation problem makes sense considering where I was the past couple weeks. Thanks so much for your speedy response. Sincerely, David
cwfphoto Posted February 28, 2010 Share #4 Posted February 28, 2010 Just sent my M8 to N.J. for the same problem! They will replace the LCD. I feel this is a defect in the screen construction. This has never happened to any of my other digital cameras. The M8 was not exposed to adverse weather conditions.
