stuny Posted December 14, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) While on the live-aboard dive-boat, as we motored to dive on both charted and uncharted reefs we stopped at various islands. Sometimes we were warned away, and other times we were welcomed. On the island of Taru in the Siassi group (just west of New Briton) we were not only welcomed, but they put on a fabulous show for us with their “sing sing” performers. These children sat near us and watched us as much as they watched the performers.

azzo Posted December 14, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 14, 2006 Two very well captured images Stuart. What a pose you've managed to get, of the young one on the left. Best Azzo

stuny Posted December 15, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted December 15, 2006 Ivan - Thank you. We found it remarkable that this child living basically in the stone age on an island seldom visited by outsiders struck such a classic pose without any coaching. Peter - Thank you.
