Bateleur Posted April 19, 2010 Share #64 Posted April 19, 2010 One of the pleasures of a darkroom is reliving the creation of a photograph, the circumstances and the people, none so much as the Leica outing in Breda. During our walkabout which was really a social event rather than a serious photographic outing we stumbled on some photogenic scenes and interesting people. As I exposed and processed my prints last week I could think back to the photographers I met in the park. Irina Popova and Reinier de Vlaam and their thought provoking presentation of life in Siberia, an existence soon to disappear under the waters of a large dam. see http://www.irinapopova.net and http://www.reinierdevlaam.nl I could reflect again on the visitors to the Begijnhof and their own photographic exploits. I remembered the girl waiting for her friends and the quiet café and the interesting Leica collection at Verschoore. And your stimulating company and equipment discussions at lunch. Thank you all.
