Advertisement Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Hi stuny, Take a look here Rainforest Madonna . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rob_x2004 Posted December 13, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 13, 2006 Stuart, nice shot. I find the background highlight a little distracting but I am sure you could tone it down a bit if it came to printing. Can I ask why you have an exposure bias? Maybe one of the smart cookies can explain it to me? Regards

wide.angle Posted December 13, 2006 Share #6 Posted December 13, 2006 Stuart, the light and composition are beautifully made. Rob, I'm not sure what you mean by exposure bias either, other than having a preference for some specific type of exposure maybe?
rob_x2004 Posted December 13, 2006 Share #7 Posted December 13, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Stuart, I thought you might have some exposure compensation dialed in on your camera. It shows minus one on all your shots that I looked at. I dont know, I might have the wrong end of the stick. Have never got a handle on it myself, and admit to being a bit lost on the subject. Suppose I should find Barton Esq images and see if they show something similar. Maybe it isnt what I think it is at all. stuny Posted December 14, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted December 14, 2006 Rob - Oh! I find that the DMR tends to slightly overexpose and I don't want to blow out the highjlights so I leave it adjusted to "-1".
