damnsharp Posted February 13, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 13, 2010 Good idea andym911! When I finally get my X1 I will definitely post a picture Oh, I am jealous for you SBLOO, wanted one but on eBay they were too expensive, but today I saw one (1951) which was sold for $ 177. But... I bought yesterday a Voigtlander 35 Metal Brightline Viewfinder, not a bad choice but still.

grober Posted February 13, 2010 Share #5 Posted February 13, 2010 Andy, Do tell us that the pronounced vignetting in your self-portrait is the work of your own post-processing and NOT the native performance of the lens, yes? -g

andym911 Posted February 13, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted February 13, 2010 You guys.... GO OUT! Leave the house. You just spent 2 grand. :D:D what, pray , is the relationship between spending money and 'leaving the house'?
jsrockit Posted February 13, 2010 Share #9 Posted February 13, 2010 Didn't you guys know that when you get a new camera you are supposed to use it 24 hours a day / 7 days a week? If you post on an internet forum, people automatically assume you don't go out ever.
soleforeal Posted February 15, 2010 Share #10 Posted February 15, 2010 you hold that camera well.
nigelb Posted February 15, 2010 Share #11 Posted February 15, 2010 Me and my X1 with a Helios 35-85-135 optical viewfinder Picture would be better with the camera in focus and your head out of focus The printing on the lens is backwards, is it an early prototype reject ;)

Douglasco Posted February 16, 2010 Share #13 Posted February 16, 2010 nigelb The picture of me was taken through a mirror I thought that would be obvious  The reason the camera is out of focus is that the photo was ment to be a picture of me with the camera not the other way round :D

damnsharp Posted February 17, 2010 Share #16 Posted February 17, 2010 So far the SBLOO looks nicest on the X1 IMHO. Until now I agree. I ordered the Voightlander but it's still on the ship I guess Maybe another one with that VF will be able to post a picture?
jsrockit Posted February 17, 2010 Share #17 Posted February 17, 2010 Well, my fave is the one designed for the X1... however, the SBLOO looks right on the X1 as well. The others don't look so right. Unfortunately, aesthetics come into play for me.
