Advertisement Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Hi mwalker649, Take a look here annie . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted December 13, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 13, 2006 Very sweet. I don't suppose you have a portrait version with just the centre third, do you?
elmarman Posted December 13, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 13, 2006 This does not 'work' for me as the face is too obscured by the foliage. The viewer's eye is attracted to the Snowman on the left, the child becomes secondary. Peter.
dkCambridgeshire Posted December 14, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 14, 2006 Far too busy and distracting tilting/converging verticals Dunk
moikle Posted December 15, 2006 Share #5 Posted December 15, 2006 Just to be me. I disagree with above comments as I was immediately drawn to the impish smile in the child's eyes. I like it. Mike

Guest adlerw Posted December 15, 2006 Share #7 Posted December 15, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Much too much single items within the frame, a typical snat shot in my opinion. Of course the girl is sweet and her grandmother will be delighted to get this picture. But any compositional thought? Any relationship between the furniture, flowers, lamp etc. etc. and the child? And, please: Upgrade your nutcracker! As far as I can see this is a cheap east-asian imitation. I warmly recommend to you the german original from the Erzgebirge (ore mountains). The cute girl should grow up with true arts and crafts. Looks different. Feels different. Regards, W.
Guest adlerw Posted December 15, 2006 Share #8 Posted December 15, 2006 The hide-and-seek situation is really charming, so this crop would work for me (quick & dirty with MS Paint).
