winsurfer Posted February 9, 2010 Share #4 Posted February 9, 2010 Great news! I use a half case on all my "good" cameras. They do not hinder my photo skills. They protect the camera which really increases the resale value as well as the fantastic "Retro" look!
georgio Posted February 10, 2010 Share #5 Posted February 10, 2010 I must say that Luigi's beautiful case, makes the camera look a lot better. GEO

They protect the camera which really increases the resale value as well as the fantastic "Retro" look! Winsurfer, I am in doubt about the half-case of Luigi. It does not fully protect the camera. The full case is a lot more expensive than the original Leica X1 case. Questions: how do you protect your camera when not in use when you have a half-case? winsurfer Posted February 10, 2010 Share #7 Posted February 10, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I take my camera everywhere! Setting it down in not the greatest places. I take it bike riding all summer and throw the kit in a bike bag. Believe me, that half case protects a good deal of the body from abrasions, nicks and the such. When it comes to selling my cameras, I usually get premium prices for them due to their pristine condition in spite of the heavy use I get out of them. I do love the cases.
