Hank Taylor Posted February 8, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 8, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) For you bird lovers, I'm sorry to tell you Charlie and I love hunting. Whenever we get the opportunity we spend our time in natures wonderland hunting Chuckers and Pheasants. I know Charlie would tell you if he could he's really a better hunter than I am. I would be lost without my best friend, and he knows it!. There's something special about a man and his dog doing what they both love to do. Charlie is a Chocolate Lab and although he's only 2, he's coming along nicely. Good breeding and training develops a good dog. I can tell you I needed more training then Charlie. Here is a shot taken recently, it wasn't easy switching from my over-under to my M 9. Hank

pauledell Posted February 9, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 9, 2010 Hank, A great shot of Charlie. I use to have a Black Lab whose name was Sparky. He lived to be 16 years old and also was a great hunter, only of rabbits in our back yard. I will always miss that dog. Paul
Hank Taylor Posted February 9, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted February 9, 2010 Paul thanks, I can appreciate how you must have loved Sparky. I only hope that Charlie and I will be able to share that many years together. I had a Brittany who was a great pointer and about 2 years ago lost him while hunting, he had a stroke, but he went out doing what he loved to do. Life isn't complete without a four legged friend. That's why I got Charlie. Best regards, Hank
