geoffsm Posted December 11, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 11, 2006 An Elcan Noctilux? (second f1 version but still w/o built-in hood)
carstenw Posted December 11, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 11, 2006 A pre-1994 Noctilux f/1.0, 11821, or the Telyt-V 280mm f/4.8 Visoflex lens. Those are the only two M lenses in my Leica Pocket Guide which list that filtersize.

leicapfile Posted December 13, 2006 Share #8 Posted December 13, 2006 Also the 200mm f/4.0 Telyt and I think the 125 f/2.5 Hektor (Which BTW is only 118.5mm). Both Viso lenses as is the aforementioned 280mm. Jerry
jcbjr Posted December 13, 2006 Share #9 Posted December 13, 2006 guy- saw a 39mm to 58mm step-up ring (what's up with that?!) at b&h, so perhaps that opens up some utility for that 58mm filter. good luck. john
carstenw Posted December 13, 2006 Share #10 Posted December 13, 2006 Also the 200mm f/4.0 Telyt and I think the 125 f/2.5 Hektor (Which BTW is only 118.5mm). Both Viso lenses as is the aforementioned 280mm. Jerry Oops, you are right about the Hector; missed that one. My book lists the 200/4 Telyt as being E48 though? I don't have one, so maybe the book is wrong.
leicapfile Posted December 13, 2006 Share #11 Posted December 13, 2006 Carston, E58 is the proper size for the 200 f/4.0. Just sold the lens and filter separately through the LHSA Catalog. Have to go to the older 90mm Summicrons for E48 (and perhaps some other lenses as well). They are kind of hard to find especially the colored ones for B&W.
