And- thanks for "your" S2 and X1 photos; if we did set that restriction next month, how many submissions do you think we would get?

An unprecedent number of shots depicting the interiors and close environments of camera shops?

Thank you for the positive feedback on my previous post. As X1 photos seem to be in demand I'll post another one here. Flightlight.

Last day of the month- may already be March now for some folks!

i think this is the best ever response we have had; as has been suggested there is a wealth of "good stuff" still to come. We will be back to the subject of light in April.

The subject for March is WATER as, usual, any connotation, no limit on the number of posts, Newbies most welcome as is honest, constructive critique.

Pete

i held off many many times from commenting on the photos as i thought the thread would get confusing about who is commenting on what photo or other comment.

this stuff was just wonderful to look at . . . every one.

and i must thank Ivan for his good sportsmanship about my friendly challenge . . . when i grow up, i wanna take pictures like Ivan !

 "when i grow up, i wanna take pictures like Ivan !" LOL :D Dave.

On the other hand, I'd like to thank everyone who participated and especially to Dave for coming up with some lovely, innovative ideas in his superb posts. Dave, your first projector (post #25) image still gets my #1 vote choice of preference!

And thanks to Pete too, for coming up with this fantastic idea. Something to look forward to each month.
