sulskyr Posted January 28, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have the old style 65 mm f/3.5 Elmar (chrome, screw-in filter, manufactured ~1967). Does anyone know the filter size? I've searched my various reference books and have come up empty-handed. Thanks--

sulskyr Posted January 28, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted January 28, 2010 Thanks--now it comes back to me! What I need is an adapter ring so that I can connect a ring flash. Amazingly enough, Adorama seems to have a variety of 41 mm step-up adapters. RS

sulskyr Posted February 5, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted February 5, 2010 Good to know about the Cokin. I finally rummaged around on the B&H website and found that they had a 41mm to Series 6 adapter for $7. I bought it there on Sunday and it works perfectly on an old Honeywell Prox-o-lite (resurrected from a cache of 1960s vintage equipment that I have). The guide number for the Prox-o-lite is feebler than I remembered (something south of 10, as far as I can tell from my test negatives), but will still have utility for close-ups with the 65 on the Bellows II.
