pauledell Posted January 28, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 28, 2010 Geaibleu, A marvelous series. Great colors, composition and crystal clear clarity. I like the second and third the most. Paul

leicamann Posted February 1, 2010 Share #4 Posted February 1, 2010 Love the colours...the Jay photo . very difficult decisions in terms of what do you do to get the correct exposure on the bird and bring out the full colour???..it would mean over-exposing the snow in the background .... Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
geaibleu Posted February 2, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted February 2, 2010 Thank you for your comments. And, yes, Leicaman, taking pictures with a snowy background is quite a chore, as exemplified by this little finch whose colours were washed out. In this specific case I resorted to a genuine Olympus lens to benefit from autofocus, but, I hasten to say was not as useful as I Thought it would. ldhrads Posted February 4, 2010 Share #6 Posted February 4, 2010 The Jay shot imho is the best, the colors, the framing and the bokeh are spectacular. The cardinals are almost surreal in their colors. Beautifully done.. LDH
