Speaking of straps...

I just got the Luma Loop strap on Friday and used it over the weekend. It's like a deluxe version of the Leica Goodies sling but not as massive as the BlackRapid sling.

It sits comfortably on my shoulder, has a nice quick release buckle for the strap itself, and the camera-attached buckle/strap is a good length.

I figured out, though, that slings can be treacherous in tight spaces, especially when fast movement and crouching/kneeling are involved, as the camera invariably moves along the sling and away from the body. My camera got whacked once really hard once when I had to lean forward in a tight stairwell and someone pushed past me from behind. Wearing the strap tight on the body pretty much solves that issue, though.

I can recommend the Luma Loop, though. So far, with the M9, no problems, very comfortable way to carry it on the street with quick access.

I use UpStrap's on all my cameras, and the RF version on my M9. The pad sticks like glue on the shoulder even when wearing the slipperiest waterproof coat. Don't confuse the dimple design with the dimples on a standard Leica strap, these really grip. Its also a nice simple understated design, ideal for the M9.
