So there is no confusion, the images displayed within this thread were shot with a Leica Digilux 2 at the track day portion of the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic.

Other images, from the Concorso d'Eleganza portion of the weekend can be found on the front page of my site: Home - Motorsports Photography by Motorsports Photographer, John Thawley :: American Le Mans, Grand Am, - WARNING - many of those images were NOT shot with Leica equipment. Those offended by that fact are warned to stay away.

Sarcasm satisfactorily delivered (and you know who you are) - here are a few from the paddock.

You already know what I think about old cars and this sort of photo. ;)

Lovely.

Sorry, didn't mean to wake you. LOL

BTW, if anyone is interested, I participated with Photoshelter providing a blog post about shooting motorsports.

Machinery a beautiful as old Leicas.

I spent a long time trying to figure how they got the fuel to the left bank of 6 . The right has three side draft carbs complete with velosity stacks. The right has the exhaust.

I don`t know.

You can't tell the difference between a 1930s Alfa in one photo and a 1950s Maserati in another?
