Jerry_R Posted January 25, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi! I am trying to add few threads to Google Reader. According to this instruction: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/faq.php?s=&do=search&q=rss&match=all&titlesonly=0 I add subscription eg. as: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=113535 where forumids=113535 is M9 forum: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m9-forum/ But Google Reader cuts it and feeds ALL new messages. It replaces above link with below one (cuts forumids=... part): http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/external.php?type=RSS2 Any idea how could I have link to particular threads, not whole forum, including German language part? LUF Admin Posted January 25, 2010 Share #4 Posted January 25, 2010 Go to the forum section page and click the RSS symbol of your browser. This should offer you two RSS feeds - one for the wohle forum, one for the specific section. This contains the forum ID. HTH... Jerry_R Posted January 25, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted January 25, 2010 Hi Andreas! Thanks for quick answer. I was looking RSS button or link on the page content - since today morning. But I can't find it anywhere on a page. When you wrote "RSS symbol of a browser" it confused me even more. I use Google Chrome... Normally I click RSS button or link, COPY given link, PASTE it in Google Reader. But I just opened the forum in Internet Explorer and found the button and the link, which I can copy now. So all is clear! FOR GOOGLE CHROME USERS - RSS extension can be "installed" from here: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/nlbjncdgjeocebhnmkbbbdekmmmcbfjd
