It also celebrates all the good things that happened.

A 60th birthday is considered as a very important event in anyone's life.

In China, it really is "United we stand, divided we fall".

If China splits up, there'll be a new Uighur state, and they'll probably turn into a terrorist breeding pot.

I would have welcomed some input from wls (Shanghai) to this thread, but so far nothing. Perhaps he could comment.

just some words...

It is very strange, someone from Poland makes here cheap sentiments against China.

The thread opener does not know China, does not know the chinese culture, can not speak a word of chinese, what he wants to achieve.....too cheap... too poor...!

China has already had a advanced culture, as were the people in Poland lived

-vegetate- in caves or on the trees.

The West, especially England have enslaved centuries China, the country and

chinese citizen extremely exploited enslaved and brutally massacred millions

of Chinese.

Up to date, Britain has paid not one cent of compensation or damages, nothing, -ZERO-

Now the West with is corrupt and falsehood politicans and false Press/Media manipulate

the people 24 hours a day. Looking for a scapegoat to divert attention from their own

crimes.

CHINA IS A SOVEREIGN STATE, a great - wonderful Country and proud people.

China needs no lectures from the dekadent western, the time are long over.

We were not taught this in history at school.

Could you provide me with some facts with regards to "England"'s centuries long enslavement of the Chinese people?

Here:

Opium Wars - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you're in London, like myself, you can go to the British Museum, there's a whole section of looted stuff.

Also, if you're in Beijing, you can visit the Old Summer Palace (Yuan Ming Yuan), which was burnt down by Anglo French soldiers.

Actually, WLS, China got Hong Kong back from the UK in 97, returned in pristine condition as a world city, compared to the fishing village it was.

The Chinese government can learn quite a lot about running a city just from the systems already put in place (based on UK systems, but translated into traditional Chinese anyhow).

Wls, thanks for responding. I'd thought you would be able to put another perspective.

I hope you not missunderstood me. I do not want

to offend or disparage you.

I just want to clarify some information,

otherwise, maybe you think the Apartheid Road 443 is in China.

Folks,

I'm closing this thread now.

We are an international forum with members from different cultures, countries, religions and political attitudes.

We are not going to find out what or who is right or has more or less guilt - so we should stay with the topics that are connecting us.

Thank you

Andreas
