Advertisement Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Hi fotmaesron, Take a look here How many shots?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stunsworth Posted January 12, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 12, 2010 Yes. If you use a Mac open a DNG in Preview and then select Tools>Show Inspector. In the Exif section there's a tag that reads "Image Unique ID". That's the total number of shots that the camera had made when that DNG was created in Hexa-Decimal. You'll need to convert it to decimal
fotmaesron Posted January 12, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted January 12, 2010 I don't have a Mac, pc with lightroom, i cannot find a unique id, any other way? Ronny
stunsworth Posted January 12, 2010 Share #4 Posted January 12, 2010 If you have Photoshop it shows up in Bridge. Other than that I don't know - but it's held in each file's marker notes so there must be PC software to extract it.

karl101 Posted January 12, 2010 Share #12 Posted January 12, 2010 PhotoME - Exif, IPTC & ICC Metadata Editor That PhotoMe is very informative. It also gives the number in decimal right at the end of the list as the Unique Image ID. I have only taken 5972 shots perhaps I should get out more. It also says the temperature was 1deg C on the last picture I took. Karl
