Advertisement Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Hi purwoardoko, Take a look here inspired by ansel adam. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
AlbertoDeRoma Posted January 10, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 10, 2010 Very nice ... but I was expecting a B&W . Alberto
Neil Macmillan Posted January 10, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 10, 2010 Maybe a little too much sky and not enough mountain. An Ansel Adams execution would be in B&W (though he dabbled with Polaroid colour in later years)
Sailronin Posted January 10, 2010 Share #4 Posted January 10, 2010 Nice shot. Understand the allusion to "Moonrise over Hernandez" rather than the choice of medium. Thank you for sharing
pauledell Posted January 11, 2010 Share #5 Posted January 11, 2010 Ardoko, A marvelous shot. That being said. while there is nothing wrong with inspiration by Ansel, I have always tried to find the beauty and grandeur of the landscape to move me to photograph it. taildraggin Posted January 13, 2010 Share #6 Posted January 13, 2010 My work represents me, not "photography as it should be." It is much more important that the reader seek an understanding of the potentials of the medium, and let the issues of personal "style" and "creativity" emerge by themselves, as they inevitably will if properly nourished. Read that just last night. - Charlie

allamande Posted January 16, 2010 Share #8 Posted January 16, 2010 Much, MUCH better in BW. I'd say this image was made for monochrome. It's more than just luck to see what's unfolding in front of you. Well done. Ece
pauledell Posted January 16, 2010 Share #9 Posted January 16, 2010 The cropping and conversion have made this a great shot. Much better than the first. Paul
