Leaving Mt Hagen (my post of Ye Olde Swimming Hole is in Mt. Hagen) we flew in a twin engine, low wing Beech owned and piloted by Bob. There are so few aircraft in Papua New Guinea that Bob could select his own tail number: P2-BOB. Air-Bob took us, and the cook for the lodge we were headed to, into the lowland river Sepik district. When we landed Air George was refueling his Islander, and a local boy watched. In the hot Sepik most of the young children wore the same outfit as this boy. More pictures from this section of the trip are on the 1st and 2nd Papua New Guinea photo galleries on our site.
