stuny Posted December 8, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 8, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leaving Mt Hagen (my post of Ye Olde Swimming Hole is in Mt. Hagen) we flew in a twin engine, low wing Beech owned and piloted by Bob. There are so few aircraft in Papua New Guinea that Bob could select his own tail number: P2-BOB. Air-Bob took us, and the cook for the lodge we were headed to, into the lowland river Sepik district. When we landed Air George was refueling his Islander, and a local boy watched. In the hot Sepik most of the young children wore the same outfit as this boy. More pictures from this section of the trip are on the 1st and 2nd Papua New Guinea photo galleries on our site. martinop Posted December 9, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 9, 2006 Enjoyable shot / composition. A larger size, i.e height @ 960 versus 580 as shown, would be of interest.
stuny Posted December 10, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted December 10, 2006 Alberto & Paul - Thank you, and here's one a bit larger (I usually do the smaller sice for posting on my site so that users don't have to scroll, and it downloads a bit quicker).
