LLT Posted January 8, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Was going through my images today and noticed that quite a number of images have these digital looking lines through them. Has anyone experienced similar issues? Is this a camera issue or an SD card issue? There isn't a linkage between the images with this issue... ISO varies from 160 to 1000 in the shots... Help!? Advertisement Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Hi LLT, Take a look here Lines through the images?!. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
michali Posted January 8, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2010 It looks to me like a card fault. IMO if it were a camera sensor issue the lines would be consistent and in the same place. I had the sensor line issue on my M8.2 and it was a very fine line in exactly the same position on every image at higher ISO values. The obvious thing to do is try another card and another brand, and always format the card in the camera that it's going to be used in. This should be done with new cards as well. What cards are you using?

What cards are you using? Am hoping it's a card fault. I'm using SD Ultra II 16GB. Pretty sure I'd formatted it before use. It hasn't happened with all the images, but I would say about 5% of total images...roughly... I'll change cards and see if that helps. Thanks Michali.
