andreleon Posted January 7, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi , Just got my M9 and sold the M8. All files opened in Capt. One have a magenta cast mainly in the corners ( I never had this with the M8DNG files) this issue does not exist neither with LR 2,6 nor ACR. Thanks for your help . Cheers . jaapv Posted January 7, 2010 Share #4 Posted January 7, 2010 It shouldn't happen. Are you using the right profile, not some M8 one by mistake? Try DNG file neutral to check -it sucks, but it should not produce this cast.
James R Posted January 7, 2010 Share #5 Posted January 7, 2010 Hi ,Just got my M9 and sold the M8. All files opened in Capt. One have a magenta cast mainly in the corners ( I never had this with the M8DNG files) this issue does not exist neither with LR 2,6 nor ACR. Thanks for your help . Cheers . I'm using an M9/35 Cron and CO1 5 Pro. The DNG files shot with Auto WB are beautiful. I've never like how ACR (LR or PS) handled my Nikon files. To avoid my dislike of LR's ACR engine, I ingesting with CO1 and then exporting as tiffs. The tiffs are then uploaded into LR2. That gave me the best file rendering and LR as a DAM and platform for tweaks. I'm waiting for new LR3 engine, which is suppose to equal CO1--I'll wait and see.
