Advertisement Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Hi thepominlaw, Take a look here Pre Order Question D-Lux 4. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ceflynn Posted December 30, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 30, 2009 The software that comes with the D-Lux 4 is Capture One version 4, not Capture One Pro version 4. It is software that costs about $99 to buy. The software is fully supported by tech support at Phase One, but is not eligible for an upgrade to Capture One Pro. Capture One version 5 and Capture One Pro version 5 were released recently. Capture One provides correction of spherical aberration for the D-Lux 4. Correction of chromatic aberration requires Capture One Pro (about $399).
jimbo035 Posted December 30, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 30, 2009 and apart from the "unseen" cost of correcting chromatic aberration, be sure to check that your computer's software is not too old to run Capture One V5 if you'd like to upgrade. When I bought my D-Lux 4 I soon found out that my Mac was virtually obsolete - as far as Phase One were concerned.
